The Tolbooth autumn prog including Alison McMorland & Friends on Fri 23rd October
The Tolbooth autumn programme has kicked in, and amongst all the performances there is a strong trad element including one I'd particularly like to highlight...
Alison McMorland and Geordie McIntyre & Friends on Fri 23rd October, 8 pm
We are delighted to present Alison and Geordie who will perform a selection of their favourite traditional and Geordie's self-penned songs, with guest appearances from just a few of the many friends and family they have inspired and encouraged, Alison's daughter Kirsty Potts with Alasdair Roberts and the Sutcliffe/Miller Family
(Neil, Jo and Steve)
Although essentially solo performers, Dunblane-based Alison and Geordie have developed a joint repertoire based on a fine sense of personal harmony. both share an unmatched love and passion for traditional music and song, which in every moment possible they share in their performances and through teaching.
