Memories of the Edinburgh folk scene in the 60's for a TV drama

Hi Hands up for Trad Forum members

I'm currently working for a leading production company who are planning to make a TV drama based around the Edinburgh folk scene of the 1960's and early 1970's and so am looking to speak to anyone who has any memories of that period. From browsing previous discussions it's clear that the members of this forum have a wealth of knowledge on this subject and could give real insight into what it was like to go to clubs like The Triangle, The Buffs and Sandy Bell's and to listen to musicians like Archie Fisher, Robin Williamson, Bert Jansch and Silly Wizard. The story is still being formed and so your memories, stories and thoughts about the scene at that time will really shape the approach of the two respected Scottish playwrights who will be writing the series.

I'd be hugely grateful if anyone who thinks they have something to share about this period could get in touch. Feel free to email: tobybrucerocks@yahoo.co.uk or call me on 01556 650235 or 07973782096 anytime.

Many thanks

Toby Bruce
